Sonia began her career as a high school history teacher, an experience that shaped her deep appreciation for the care, skill, and dedication educators bring to their work every day. She currently teaches at NYU’s Wagner School of Public Service, where she has the privilege of supporting graduate students as they collaborate with nonprofits, schools, and public agencies on real-world projects. Sonia cares deeply about building community and helping young people feel seen, valued, and supported as they grow into who they are. She’s also the proud parent of three children in the Ardsley School District and finds joy in long hikes, good conversation, and any excuse to gather people together in meaningful ways.

Sara Cohen-Agha (she/her)

Vice President of Community Learning- Founding Member

Sara’s never not been in school, graduating from college right to the front of the classroom as a New York City Teaching Fellow. As a high school English teacher and a staff developer in New York Public Schools, she has enlisted and supported fellow educators in centering student voices for the past twenty years. Her creativity in and out of the classroom is fueled by a love for words, art, travel, and, above all, her family. With two children in the Ardsley schools, Sara is devoted to engaging in difficult conversations and to building in-roads to a stronger, more inclusive community.

Greg is the Treasurer of Ardsley HEART and cares deeply about helping students feel connected and supported. He values the many ways people learn and is curious about how technology can be used thoughtfully to strengthen those experiences.
